I'm in Chang'an right now visiting Sanzo and Hakkai, and I'm having a great time. I've been hanging out with the guys and spending time with the chibis. I even dressed up as Santa for them one day this week, but shh, don't tell them it was me. They loved spending the day with Santa, and I loved doing it for them.

Unfortunately, it's back to the real world later this week. I'll get back to Colorado on Friday, and General Landry's shipping me out on a mission on Saturday at 0800 hours. This mission should only take a couple of days, if all goes well. Here's hoping.

I know it's short notice, but Phoebe's graduating on Saturday, and Prue and I are having a party for her. Nothing big, just a cake and a few of her friends to celebrate. If you guys aren't busy, we'd love for you to join us. If you are busy, no worries. I know it's close to the holidays. :)

Rosalie and Emmett are back home. It's really nice having them with us again. I've missed having Rose here to go shopping with, and everything always seems more cheerful with Emmett around cracking jokes. Esme and Carlisle are thrilled that they're back for the holidays.

I'm off to Chang'an to visit Hakkai and Sanzo later this week. I'll be there for about a week, and then I'm being sent off on a mission when I get back. At least I didn't have to re-schedule my leave. I'm looking forward to getting away for a few days. And I should be back from the mission in time for Christmas too, which is a good thing since my family's planning to come and visit me in Colorado this year.

We lost Cole.

We were protecting another witch named Jenna from the Brotherhood. We left her with Leo in the attic while we ran downstairs for some ingredients for a potion, and while we were downstairs, a demon attacked us. I blew him up, but not before I blew up a bookshelf and another potted plant. (Yeah, I'm still working on the control thing.) While we were downstairs, Cole shimmered into the attic and knocked Leo unconscious before he killed Jenna. He tried to tell us after the fact that his old mentor had forced him to kill her and that he didn't have a choice, but killing an innocent is inexcusable. We had finished the power stripping potion, but Phoebe refused to give it to him. She told him that there was no good in him anymore and that she's through with him.

I can see what Edward's planning to do. He's going to try to track Victoria. He wants to eliminate her so that she doesn't have a chance to try to hurt Bella. He's not a very good tracker, though. I don't see him finding her.
